Regency Townhouse Renovation

Denleigh carefully curated bespoke doors for the renovation of a delightful Grade II listed Regency Townhouse set in a sought-after garden square in Kensington, London.

The square with its characterful homes was finished in 1820 and has access to a wonderful central garden offering a quiet oasis of mature trees, rolling lawns, serpentine paths and imaginative planting. The client had specific requirements to upgrade the interior of their home with bespoke internal doors in keeping with the properties period charm and historic legacy.

Adding to period charm

Working closely with the client we crafted nineteen bespoke doors to a range of traditional designs with custom features. All doors were supplied white primed with a FD60 fire rating and manufactured with a solid core and a thickness of 55mm, giving them added protection and a premium quality feel.

The bedrooms and study feature flat panel TRAD-603 shaker doors with a bespoke recessed bead. They were finished in white and fitted with black door knobs and ironmongery. For a playroom our door artisans curated a shaker door with a delightful curved header, which was fine paint finished on site in a classic green tone matching the rooms colour scheme.

Attention to detail with bespoke doors

A pair of TRAD-607 traditional 2-panel doors in white with bespoke decorative bead was chosen for the dining room and sitting room, whilst our 4 panel TRAD-603 traditional doors lead to the kitchen and bathrooms throughout the property. We also supplied a glazed door to the pantry featuring six glass apertures, framed with sidelights to the same design.
