Period Property Renovation

Bespoke internal doors and ironmongery from Denleigh were chosen for the stunning renovation of a spacious period property near the desirable north London suburb of Finchley.

Set in a leafy sought-after road within easy reach of local amenities, this delightful 1930’s property was completely renovated and extended to a high specification. The character of the original property has been retained, whilst equipping it with all the modern appliances and technology needed for comfortable 21st century living. The extended accommodation includes a large open plan kitchen / dining room, 5 bedrooms, 3 ensuites, dressing room and a gym built in the newly built basement extension.

Project Details

Bespoke TRAD-619 doors to a traditional design were chosen for this project, which we finely crafted with a raised and fielded panel and recessed stepped beading. Supplied in a number of bespoke sizes in a white primed finish, these doors very much complement the classic design of the property. We curated fourteen of these doors in total which were a mix of FD30 fire rated and non-fire rated doors, all of which have a solid core.

Stepped architrave and skirting throughout the property helps frame the doors, enhancing the design, whilst the black handles and ironmongery provide a lovely contrast highlighting the period charm and complementing other interior finishes.

For a bathroom, en-suite and playroom we supplied pocket doors, crafted in our flush MOD-410 single panel design with v-grooves. These were supplied with pocket door kits for easy installation and help maximise space.

Ironmongery

We supplied quality ironmongery and handles for all of the doors, ensuring best performance and aesthetics. A traditional handle in matt black on a round rose was matched with ironmongery in a corresponding finish including bathroom turn and release, hinges, sash locks and latch plates.
